Cape May, located on the far southern tip of New Jersey is the nation's oldest vacation resort and was named after the Dutch sea captain Cornelius Mey.
In 1878 a fire swept thru town destroying a large portion of homes and businesses. As part of the rebuilding process the home were almost all built of the Victorian style that we see in Cape May today.
This memory was captured at the harbor as soon as you cross over the bridge into Cape May.
