Acadia National Park is an American jewel located on the stunning coast of Maine.
The first national park located east of the Mississippi River it boasts views unlike anything on the eastern seaboard.
Cadillac Mountain is located inside Acadia National Park and at 1500+ feet it the highest mountain that is located ON the coast on the entire eastern seaboard.
At certain times, the sun hits American soil here first although the folks at Lubec, Maine would disagree.
